Jamie and I bought Izzy and Abby a new dog house today! It is so big Jamie can fit too! He enjoyed teaching the puppy dogs how to climb in and out.

Abby is very calm and LOVES to sleep.

Izzy is not calm (at all) and wants to play ALL the time!

The New Addition to Our Family...

This is our new baby girl Abigail!! (Abby) We adopted her from a shelter on Friday. Izzy is so excited to have a sister! She is half Izzy's size, but they are the same age. She is a dachshund mix with very short legs and a very big heart.

We love her!

Let the games BEGIN!

The fantasy football draft was this past Sunday and the boys were glued to the computer! They had so much fun talking "smack" and choosing their players. Josh and Kristin came to stay the weekend with us, so Kris and I were able to get some shopping time in while the draft was going on! We loaded the boys up with snacks and took off! Fun times...

Angel's Game

This past weekend we went to the Angels vs. Twins game with our friends Josh and Kristin. The Twins were winning until the 8th inning and then the Angels won. Josh is a huge Angels fan and Jamie a Twins fan, so it was fun to see them root against each other. Josh had his "Rally Monkey" ready at all times!

Kristin is also pregnant and due in February. We have a lot of fun sharing and comparing stories and just hanging out. We are so excited to be pregnant at the same time. It makes things a lot of fun.

Our BIG News!

We are very happy to announce that Krista is 8 weeks pregnant! We went to see the doctor today and got this wonderful photo of our very active (with a strong heart) unborn baby! The doctor said the baby looks like it is already getting ready for the Olympics. We are so very thrilled and thankful for this chance to raise a child and have a family. We look forward to welcoming our "little one" into the world on March 16, 2008. Please continue to pray for our family. Many more posts and pics to follow...!

Tyler and Jason

Jessica brought Tyler and Jason to visit this past week. Tyler was one of the ringbearers in our wedding. They lived in Riverside when Tyler was born and I used to babysit him often. A few years ago they moved to Washington. =(

Tyler is now 5 1/2 and starts kindergarten this year! Jason is 3 years old and starts preschool this year! I can't believe how fast time flies!

Aquarium of the Pacific

We went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach last week while Mark was here. Josh, Kristin, and Dave came too. It was a lot of fun. We were able to pet the stingrays and fish. Afterwards we went to dinner at Yard House.

Chuck E. Cheese

I took Ryan and Jessica to Chuck E. Cheese on Thursday. They both earned over 200 tickets! After playing, we went to Red Robin for dinner. Fun times! I'm going to miss them, but I know they have so much to look forward to in Florida.

Only one more week...they drive away June 11th!

Dinner Theatre

We went to a dinner theater in Anaheim for my mom's birthday last weekend. (We went early since my sister and her family are here.) It was a mystery play and we had to figure out who the murderer was. It was a lot of fun, and very interesting! Craig solved the mystery!

My sister and her family are here to visit for the next three weeks before they move to Florida. Here's a picture of "Uncle Jamie" (being silly of course), Ryan and I. Ryan and Jamie were playing guitar hero together. Ryan thinks Uncle Jamie is COOL!! =)

More of Izzy...

Izzy carries her little "blankie" around with her. She won't stop chewing off little pieces, so there isn't going to be much blankie left when she's done with it.

Jamie was painting our fence outside and Izzy was SO sad she couldn't be by his side. She just laid and stared at him thru the fence. I finally let her out because she looked so sad. Then, she just sat at the side of the block wall with her head resting in the dirt and waited for Jamie to come down. She LOVES her daddy!

Grandpa came to visit Izzy today. We were talking about how big she is getting. Definitely not a little puppy anymore! We were comparing pictures of how little she was when we first got her...look how much she's grown! She is VERY playful now!

Old Timz!

Here is a picture of an old water tower on the missionary station in Africa where I attended school. One of the scarey but fun things to do as a kid was go to the top and walk around the ledge. There was an old rotted out ladder going to the top with a few rungs missing on it. The ledge had some areas missing on it as well. We were always so proud to make it around the top and back down again!

This is the dorm that so many of us lived in while in Cameroun, Africa. This picture is of one side of the building. This was the guys side of the dorm. It had two bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedroom on the far corner is where Micah, Mark, Ryan Durkopp and I spent our first year together. We learned how to make things out of leather and lead(not a good idea), fabricated many different weapons, planned hunting and camping trips and Ryan turned us on to the sweet sound of rock n roll. I know it does not look like much, but this was almost every boys paradise!

Shake Izzy...

Izzy has gotten SO big! She is now 6 months old!!

Jamie continues to carry her around the house even though she is 26 pounds! (and the vet says she's not done growing!) Jamie enjoys having her around the house, following him everywhere he goes. She is very loved and VERY spoiled!

Izzy now knows three tricks...sit, lay down, and shake.

Easter

We celebrated Easter at my mom's house this year. The kids opened their Easter baskets and hunted for eggs. It was a lot of fun to have them here for Easter!

Pedicure for Princess Jessica =)

Jamie was at Micah's for a few days so I was able to spend some time with my niece and nephew. Here's a pic of me giving Jess a pedicure! =)

Weekend in Big Bear

We went to Big Bear this weekend with our friends, Josh and Kristin. The boys went on this sliding bobsled track and the girls just watched. The boys had to ride up the ski lift to the top of the mountain and ride down on a sled. There was also snowtubing, but I refused to go near that thing! Jamie is in the first slide picture and Josh in the second.

There wasn't a lot of snow, but the weather was perfect! Of course the boys played video games while the girls went shopping! =) It was a fun and relaxing weekend. It's nice just to get away.
