Christmas 2009!!

Merry Christmas!
We had a great Christmas this year celebrating with our families, although we missed my sister and brother-in-laws. Schedules were hectic, so we saw the Ericksons in October and celebrated with my sister's family in November.

Christmas Day we opened presents at our house and then headed over to my mom's for an early supper.

Playing with his new Fire TruckIt took Jayden a very long time to open all his gifts because he wanted everything out of the package and plastic. He would open the gift, take it to Dada to open, and then play with it before moving on to the next one.

Papa and Gaga woke up early and came to see what Santa brought Jayden! They actually got here before he woke up. Jayden decided to sleep longer than usual on Christmas morning, we were waiting for him to wake up!

Ultrasound

Our ultrasound is scheduled for this Thursday at 9:30am! I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and feel the baby move often. This baby isn't as active as Jayden was in the womb, but I still feel "it" move around throughout the day and a lot at night when I'm laying still.

We are happy to find out if we're having a boy or girl. We're excited either way and can't wait for the dynamics of our family to change with 4 of us! We're praying for a healthy baby with a strong heartbeat. I will post after we tell our families the news.

I also need to post pictures from Christmas. Things have been busy, but I'll try to work on that soon! We had a great time with friends and family, although I missed my sister. But, Jayden and I are flying back to Florida in February for Conner's 1st birthday! Yay!

Great News!

After 7 weeks of waiting, Becky got to hold Baby Emily today for the first time! You HAVE to check out the pictures...click on M&B on the right hand side of our blog.

What an answer to prayer! Emily has doubled her birth weight and is ADORABLE!

Santa

We went to the mall today and Jayden was able to see "Ho-Ho" again! He was so excited, he sat there and stared at Santa for the longest time. It was SO cute!

There wasn't anybody else in line, so Jayden was able to visit with
Santa for about 10 minutes!

Jamie's Christmas Party

Last weekend we went to Jamie's Christmas Party at his work.
I was actually there too, but didn't make it into any pictures, part of being the Mama =)

A Firetruck dropped off Santa (Jayden calls him Ho-Ho) for the kids to see. I'm not sure if Jayden was more excited to see Santa, or the Firetruck. He LOVE Firetrucks!

There was also a bounce house that Jayden enjoyed "jumping" in. The funny thing is...Jayden hasn't figured out how to jump yet. He thinks going up and down on his toes is jumping. It's so funny to watch him!
There were F16 Jets for the kids to "drive" too.Jayden thought these were really cool!Here is a video of Jayden when the Firetruck dropped off Santa. Jayden was so happy! You'll see in the middle of the video he realizes Santa is there and gets excited. I am very thankful he isn't afraid of Santa. (like I was!)

We can't wait for Christmas Morning!

A baby update-I went in for my 4 month check-up on Thursday and everything is going well with my pregnancy. We heard the healthy heartbeat and I measured right on. We have our Ultrasound scheduled for January 5th. We will be able to find out what we're having at that time! We can't wait. We know Jayden is going to be a great big brother!
