Jayden's Family and Friends

Jayden is already one week old! He has changed SO much! It's amazing to see him grow and change everyday. Here are a few pictures I loaded very quickly.

Jayden's Auntie Jenn flew from Florida to meet him yesterday, along with his Uncle Craig and his only cousins, so I'll try to post those pictures in the next few days. Many of these are from the hospital a week ago. Sorry it took so long! We'll try to be better at posting.

Here is a picture of Jayden and Gramma Goose. We call Krista's mom "Gramma Goose" because she's always singing to him and reciting nursery rhymes. She sang to Jayden almost everyday when he was in the womb. (Even on the answering machine if we didn't see her or answer the phone!)

Grandpa Erickson says he'll take Jayden to Africa some day!

Jayden spent his first Easter at the hospital...

He didn't mind too much...Grandpa Randy came and cuddled with him and sang him some songs. He even brought Jayden his first Easter Basket!

We're Home!!

After 5 long days at the hospital...we're home!

Jayden was born last Thursday, March 20th at 11:12pm. We've had a long few days, but will update with pictures soon.

Krista goes to the doctor today at 3:40pm.

Welcome Baby Bayley!

Josh and Kristin's son, Bayley, arrived Wednesday, February 27th!

He is ADORABLE!!

We're so excited for them! Bayley and Jayden will be best of friends!

Calvary Community Baby Shower

Calvary Community Church (where dad is the Pastor) had a baby shower for Krista this past Sunday. The decorations were Jayden's "Baby Aviator" theme. Everything was SO nice! The ladies were all very generous in their giving.

We are truly blessed!

We are very touched by the love and support that was shown to us!

It is very much appreciated!

The ladies from the church even had bookmarks made and water bottles ordered with the Baby Aviator theme and Jayden/Krista's name on it!

Baby Shower

My mom and sister threw me a baby shower this past Saturday. It was a lot of fun! My sister flew from Florida to be here! Jayden is going to love his Auntie Jenn Jenn!

There was a lot of laughing too! Grandma Erickson and Grandma Goose (my mom) loved the Pee-Pee Tee-Pees! What will they think of next!?!?!

The Best Husband...EVER!!

I just wanted to write and say "I have the best husband" ...ever. I walked into the living room tonight to find a huge box wrapped in pink paper that said Happy Birthday! On top of the big box was a bear holding pink roses. I guess he wanted me to have my birthday present early!

I opened up the box to find the pink Dell laptop I've been wanting! I figured it would be a while before I actually got it because we've been working on Jayden's room, but that wasn't the case. Jamie ordered the laptop and surprised me! I am SO excited to once again have a laptop! He made sure it had the webcam installed so I can chat with my sister in Florida. Yay!

I thought my husband was the best before this, but this just goes to show he's thoughtful too! Thanks honey...I Love you!

The Nursery

After much dreaming and imagination, sawing and nailing, painting and caulking... and more painting... and then some more painting, our nursery is just about complete! We are filled with great anticipation, hope, and gratitude as we walk into the beautiful room that someday soon will hold our little bundle of joy. Thank you so much to Dean and Jenny, Randy and Penny, and Kevin and Sheree for all your help! We wanted to share these pictures with you, those who have heard about this project and are anxious to see some of the results. We are thrilled with the way it all came together!

Happy Birthday Jamie!!

Wednesday was Jamie's birthday. He turned 33 years old! We celebrated in Fullerton and then came home and celebrated in Beaumont. As you can tell in the pictures, Jamie is just a big kid. I can't wait to see him play with his son! They will have a lot of fun playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band! Jamie can't wait for our boy to be old enough to play video games! =)

Santa Monica Pier

Jamie and I took Mark and Jared to the Santa Monica Pier. We went shopping at the Promenade and had lunch at a New York Pizza Place.

Christmas in Florida

Here are some pictures from Florida. We were stuck in St. Louis for 5 hours on the way here! Here's a picture of us at the airport. We arrived in Florida around 1:45am and our plane was supposed to land at 8:45pm. We were happy to finally get here and see my sister and her family! We ended up going to bed at 3:30am once we got here!

Here's a picture of Baby E meeting his Auntie Jenn for the first time! He was very active for her and his cousins. They have felt him move many times since we've been here. Auntie Jenn thinks it's super cute when she gets to feel his hiccups!

Ryan and Jessica got Motorcycles for Christmas! Uncle Jamie had a lot of fun trying out their new bikes and playing with all their new toys!

We took a tour of Craig's work and then fed the ducks and birds at the lake.

Week 19

Here is a picture of my beautiful wife and baby to be! Krista is almost halfway through the pregnancy now. We find out November 2nd if it's a boy or a girl!

A Relaxing Getaway...

Jamie took me to Indio this weekend. It was a nice relaxing getaway. It was warm enough for us to lay by the pool and go swimming!
