Little Lambs Outing

Jayden and I joined a Mom's Group called, "Little Lambs" through our church. We do a bible study two Wednesdays a month and go on an Outing once a month. It's been great for Jayden to interact with other kids...he's learning to share! =)

Our Outing this month was to go to a Starbucks to listen to a Police Officer read a story to the kids.
Then, we headed to the park for a picnic.

All the kids did well listening. The Officer was really patient and allowed the kids to stand and look and point at the pictures.

The moms in this group are amazing!
It's been fun to get to know them and to learn cool tips from them. It's so encouraging to share stories and get great ideas to help in raising a kid!

The Police Officer even let Jayden hold his badge!

Jayden LOVES to make cookies!
We usually find the slice and bake cookies since they don't have milk, and he can actually eat them.
This time, we made Valentine's Day Cookies!

He waits so patiently for the cookies to bake and loves to hear the buzzer go off to let us know the cookies are done!

Jayden is quite a good helper outside too! We got him some outside tools to help daddy take care of our yard!
He loves raking leaves!

Can't believe it's already the middle of February! We'll be celebrating Jayden's 2 year birthday in a month! Time flies!

A Fun Day!

Jamie had a conference in Long Beach this week, so on Friday we met him down in Fullerton to go to Disneyland.
Jayden and I got there early,
so we visited with Grandpa until Dada's workday was finished.

Jayden enjoyed a story read by Grandpa.
Then, it was time to help Grandpa prepare a snack!

He loves all their little chairs and tables.Growing up to be such a big boy!Once Dada was finished, we headed to Disneyland.
Our first stop was the Train Ride.

It was very crowded, but we were able to ride the Merry-Go-Round, Casey Jr's Train Ride, Storybook Boat Ride, and the Cars. We also enjoyed dinner with the Louviers at Pizza Port!Trying to get a good picture of all 3 of us!Casey Jr's Circus Train

What would a trip to Disneyland be without a trip to the Tiki Room? Bayley and Jayden love the Tiki Room! They were standing and dancing the whole time!Couldn't get all the boys to look at the camera at the same time.

After Disneyland, we headed back to Grandpa and Grandma's house to spend the night. Jayden was happy Grandma was home from work. They played with all the cups and prepared a nice pretend meal. They also had tea together!Saturday morning Grandpa and Dada washed the cars,
so Jayden enjoyed "helping" them!We cleaned up and headed to Ikea where we had fun shopping and a yummy dinner!

Fun at the Park

Our new house is about a mile from a park.
We've walked there many times this week.
Jayden loves being outside and I enjoy the walk!

The last time we were there, Jayden said, "Mama, sit down!" and pointed over to the bench. He's getting so independent! Can't believe he'll be 2 in March.

Vikings vs. Saints Game

We had a little party for the Vikings vs. Saints Game.
Jamie is a die-hard Vikings fan and
my dad loves the Saints!Our pre-game faces...It was an intense game!
Jamie was so upset with the Vikings performance
and couldn't believe the number of turnovers!
