Grandpa and Grandma Erickson

Grandpa and Grandma Erickson came to visit Jayden last weekend.

Jayden showed Grandma how he could sit all by himself!

Jayden is SO close to crawling! He gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth. He gets to where he wants to go by rolling over and then pushing himself back up into a sitting position.

Mema and Papa

Mema and Papa were here visiting this past weekend. It means so much to me that Jayden is getting to know his great-grandparents!

Exciting News!!! It's a GIRL!!!

We're going to have a niece!

Micah and Becky had their ultrasound yesterday and found out that they are having a girl!

We are SO excited for them!

We thought this little Nike outfit was perfect for our niece...

We have a feeling she's going to be an awesome athlete! =)

Church BBQ

Last Sunday our church had a bbq at a lake in Forest Falls. The weather was SO nice, but the water was a little too cold to swim in. Jayden LOVES being outside!

He loves to look at the trees, and the feel of the grass.

Even though the water was a cold, Jayden loved kicking around in it!

We missed Daddy at the BBQ because he had to work. =(

It was good food and great fellowship!

Swimming with Gramma

Jayden went swimming with Gramma in her hot tub today...

he LOVED it!

He loves water and has no fear getting his face wet.

Thank you Papa and Mema!

Jayden's Great-Grandpa Pruden made this airplane for him in his stain glass class! Papa took a piece of wallpaper from the border in Jayden's nursery and matched it perfectly! It looks SO neat hanging in his window...Thank You Papa!

Mema made Jayden this quilt. It fits nicely on his toybox! Mema cut some square pieces out of material and made the airplanes on the quilt to match his nursery exactly. My grandparents are SO talented! (and thoughtful!)

Dad, thank you for being a Godly example of what a father (and grandfather) should be. You've always supported Jenn and I in all our decisions and that has meant so much. You have taught us what integrity is all about. We know we can always call you when we need advice, support, or encouragement. I couldn't ask for a better father!

Grandpa's Little Buddy... Mom, you are loving, kind, warm and affectionate. You are the most others-minded person I know! I couldn't imagine going through life without you! You are more than just my mom, you are one of my best friends! I appreciate all the help you give us, all our phone conversations (and emails!), and all the things you do for my family. You have always put our needs above your own. I can only pray that I will become the mother for Jayden that you have been for me!

Love at 1st sight...Mom, thank you for watching Jayden for us whenever you can! You take EVERY opportunity to pick him up from Jessica's, bathe him, feed him, and just love him. He gets so excited to see you and I know as he gets older that excitement is just going to grow and grow...
Grandma can never get enough... Thank you for being amazing grandparents to all of your grandkids!
