Jayden is very attentive and alert. He loves to listen to stories!
The panda book I'm reading him has pictures in black and white,
(which is all he sees right now),
so he loves looking at all the pictures. Look how focused he is!
We think he's VERY smart already!
Daddy was reading him the "Tale of Jeremy Fisher,"
a book Jamie used to read in Africa with his mom.
Jayden LOVES to stare at his daddy!!
Whenever Jamie has him, Jayden is just amused by him.
I think it's all the stories Jamie makes up and tells him!

Looks like Jayden is very attentive to his surroundings. As to his daddy's stories, well, alot of us open our eyes wide as they CAN be quite wild stories!! Ha!...
No, it looks like Jayden and his parents are bonding very well! So fun to see how he has grown. Keep posting so we can "see" him grow. Miss you all.
The whole Kooiman family is soooo happy for the three of you. We knew you would be such a happy little family. Hope sleep and all the rest are going well. :) We miss you and can't wait to see you in June!

Ohhh, ya! Made up stories from daddy, hmmmm...I'm sure that the stories will become crazier and more extravagant as the years go by! We love you guys!
I was also going to comment on Jamie's stories, but I see that Mom and Marilyn beat me to it! :)
I'm so excited to see you SOON! I don't know my schedule yet, but as soon as I have a couple days off together, I'm heading to Cali!
