Sunday School

Jayden will finally go in the Sunday School Classroom at Church!
(as long as someone stays with him, but it's a start) It's taken him a long time to come to this point. We've been paged many times to come pick him up from the nursery because he can't calm down. The last few times we were paged he had cried so hard he broke out in a rash! So, this is a big step for our little guy!

Here he is having a snack during Sunday School...
Fun with Play-Doh
Watching a movie with his new friends!
A serious picture....
Playing with toys
He's been two weeks in a row and has learned that God made Man (he brought home a little colored man on a Popsicle stick) and that God made Flowers (he planted seeds in a cup). We're so proud of our little guy and can't believe he's old enough to go to Sunday School!

Our prayer is that Jayden will continue to grow in the knowledge of Christ and become a Godly example for all.

Yes, SS can be a big deal when separated from those he knows so well. I suggest reminding him what is in store, all the positives of playing with new different toys, playing with new friends, singing God's praises, reading and learning new things about God. then also remind him it is only for a little while, Mom and Dad are in their own SS, and they will be back very soon to pick him up and then we can tell each other what we learned. Have fun in your own special SS room. He is so sweet in those pictures. And so grown up. Hugs to Jayden from me.
(Hope these suggestions can help.)

Yeah, we want to see Jayden grow up loving Jesus and making Jesus look good through his life lived like Jesus.

What Margarethe has said is so true. With my many years of doing SS nursery, the boys have the hardest time seperating from parents. They're just not as relational as girls. It's something learned for them. Have fun! Before you know it he'll have many, many friends.

Wow Jenn, you are good! You can tell by that little bit of leg! :) Being in there with him brings back so many memories of you girls teaching little 2-3 year old Rainbows on Wednesday nights.
