Long Beach Aquarium

We had a fun family day at the Long Beach Aquarium!
First, I have to say what a great Dada and Hubby Jamie is. He only had/has 3 days off total in March and decided to take us to the Aquarium today (his idea), when he has to work this weekend. Thanks Dada! We think you're the BEST!Jayden loved the Aquarium!
He loved all the different fish and exhibits!
We let him go at his own pace, which I think helped.Sea Horse

Jayden calls his goldfish at home, "Yah-Yah" (not sure why, he always has), so when he saw the fish in the aquarium, he kept saying, "BIG Yah-Yah!"

He loved the large tanks where he could see the fish
swim all around him. There are a ton of pictures,
but I love his expression in ALL of them!
He thought the Sea Otters were very cool!Checking out the Bird ExhibitsThe Shark and Sting Ray Lagoon
(That is a giant sting ray swimming by)

Jayden wasn't too sure about petting the sharks and sting rays.
He decided to just look. (which is fine with us)I love my boys! There was a play area for kids.If you pushed the button, it sprayed water.Giant CrabDriving the BoatWe got some nectar to feed the Parakeets!Jayden wasn't so sure at first, but thought the birds
were pretty funny after a while.Dada's turnSharks
We decided not to take the stroller and Jayden did great! He enjoyed walking around and exploring. It made me a little sad...my baby is growing up so fast!

Sea OtterDucksMr. Independent! =)JellyfishJayden loved the Sea Stars stuck to the
side of the tank.
He was very observant for being 2.Checking out the Tree Frog.Big Funny Looking Fish
Jamie and I have been to this Aquarium 3 or 4 times, but we both agreed it is completely different being there and seeing the excitement on our little boy's face. We loved it!
The Scuba Divers were in the tank and waved to Jayden. Jayden kept telling us on the way home, "Man, Wave, Yah-Yah, Jayden!"
We understood what he meant! =) The weather was so nice in Long Beach! We had packed a lunch and decided
to eat where we could sit and watch the boats come in.
It was so much fun!
Lunch!
Jayden enjoyed being outside.
Mommy loves you Jayden!Daddy loves you too!
Saying Bye-Bye to the Aquarium.
We decided to grab Cold Stone on the way home!
Jayden was excited to go to the "Ice Cream Store!" We are very thankful Jayden's dairy allergy is getting better
so he can enjoy ice cream with us!
(In very small increments, he only had 1/4 of this,
but it's a start!)

We had a great day!

It is such fun to see the world though the eyes of our little people. They absorb SO much when exposed and explore the world we can show them. Last Wednesday Julie and I took little David to the MN Zoo. A great time!
Jayden seems to take time looking and enjoying all he saw! Love his expressions! Many times I could see his Daddy's expressions!
Thanks for sharing your fun visit.

Looks like you guys had a great day. How fun to see Jayden's fascination with all the fish. I think it is so cute when he points to the thing that is interesting him.
Love Dad & Mom

Thanks for posting all the pictures, Krista! It's sad only getting to watch Jayden grow up from so far away... Thanks for texting the pics of Jayden and for the 'thank you' message too! :-) Just a polite little boy!
