On a Saturday Morning...

This weekend is the first in a few weeks that we woke up and Dada was home! He's been working a lot, and we've been really busy. SO, we were happy to wake up this morning without any plans! The boys enjoyed just hanging out... Brady loves playing with toys, but actually just loves to be around people.
When you walk in the room, he gets excited and gives you a big smile!Jayden and Dada painting outside...I was in the house when I heard, "Come on Jayden, let's show Mama what we found!"
I said right away, "I hope you're not bringing a live creature in the house!"
Yep! It was a frog! Jayden was SOOOOOO excited to show me!
He was a cute little guy... What is Jayden wearing you might ask??
Yes, I am one of those moms who lets their child dress himself. (Ok, truth...only if we aren't going anywhere. Ha!) So, since we are in the middle of potty-training, he had his Mater (from CARS) undies on and he won't wear pants because he can't see his undies, his pajama shirt, his outside shoes, and...two gloves! He is into wearing gloves lately. He always puts on two, and they never match,
but that's what he likes to wear. =)
To be honest, I was very thankful he was wearing gloves
when he was handling the frog!!
Then, he decided to act like a frog... Ribbit!!
Putting the frog back in the bushes.

Watch out Kristin...the first thing Jamie said is,
"I can't wait for Jayden to hand Kristin a frog next time she is here!" =)
When Kristin and I were pregnant with Bayley and Jayden (before we knew what we were having), Kristin said, "I'm fine with having boys, as long as they don't walk in and try to hand me a frog or something!" LOL

That is exactly what I was thinking as I was reading this. UGH!!!I was also thinking about that frog you had when we were in college and I stayed at your house. I could only sleep with one eye closed, afraid that thing was going to jump in bed with me. Man!!! I guess I am not coming up to visit for a while :) (have to wait for frog season to be over)
