More of Izzy...

Izzy carries her little "blankie" around with her. She won't stop chewing off little pieces, so there isn't going to be much blankie left when she's done with it.

Jamie was painting our fence outside and Izzy was SO sad she couldn't be by his side. She just laid and stared at him thru the fence. I finally let her out because she looked so sad. Then, she just sat at the side of the block wall with her head resting in the dirt and waited for Jamie to come down. She LOVES her daddy!

Grandpa and Izzy

Grandpa came to visit Izzy today. We were talking about how big she is getting. Definitely not a little puppy anymore! We were comparing pictures of how little she was when we first got her...look how much she's grown! She is VERY playful now!

Old Timz!

Here is a picture of an old water tower on the missionary station in Africa where I attended school. One of the scarey but fun things to do as a kid was go to the top and walk around the ledge. There was an old rotted out ladder going to the top with a few rungs missing on it. The ledge had some areas missing on it as well. We were always so proud to make it around the top and back down again!

This is the dorm that so many of us lived in while in Cameroun, Africa. This picture is of one side of the building. This was the guys side of the dorm. It had two bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedroom on the far corner is where Micah, Mark, Ryan Durkopp and I spent our first year together. We learned how to make things out of leather and lead(not a good idea), fabricated many different weapons, planned hunting and camping trips and Ryan turned us on to the sweet sound of rock n roll. I know it does not look like much, but this was almost every boys paradise!

Shake Izzy...

Izzy has gotten SO big! She is now 6 months old!!

Jamie continues to carry her around the house even though she is 26 pounds! (and the vet says she's not done growing!) Jamie enjoys having her around the house, following him everywhere he goes. She is very loved and VERY spoiled!

Izzy now knows three tricks...sit, lay down, and shake.

Easter

We celebrated Easter at my mom's house this year. The kids opened their Easter baskets and hunted for eggs. It was a lot of fun to have them here for Easter!

Pedicure for Princess Jessica =)

Jamie was at Micah's for a few days so I was able to spend some time with my niece and nephew. Here's a pic of me giving Jess a pedicure! =)

Weekend in Big Bear

We went to Big Bear this weekend with our friends, Josh and Kristin. The boys went on this sliding bobsled track and the girls just watched. The boys had to ride up the ski lift to the top of the mountain and ride down on a sled. There was also snowtubing, but I refused to go near that thing! Jamie is in the first slide picture and Josh in the second.

There wasn't a lot of snow, but the weather was perfect! Of course the boys played video games while the girls went shopping! =) It was a fun and relaxing weekend. It's nice just to get away.

Jessica and Ryan

On our way home from Vegas, we were able to stop at my sister's house to visit my niece and nephew. Jessica had a Girl Scout's Play so it worked out perfectly for us to be there to watch it. Ryan and I played some video games while waiting for the play to start.

Jessica played the role of a "stepmother" in her play. My sister kept telling her step-moms are "HOT!" =)

Trendwest Resort

Jamie took me to one of his Trendwest Resort time shares for my birthday. It was SO pretty and warm! There were four jacuzzi's and five pools! It had a "Lazy River" where you get a raft and lay out as the current carries you around in a big circle, around the jacuzzi's. The pictures of the man-made lakes are from our front and back balconies. If you look closely, you can see Jamie laying out in the sun in one of the pictures. Laying out in winter...only in California! (It was in Indio, about 45 miles from our house)

Did I mention my husband is the BEST! It was a great birthday getaway! It was very relaxing...we watched movies, had a candle-lit dinner, sat in the jacuzzi and laid out in the sun.

Happy Birthday to ME! =)

This week has been an ongoing celebration. We had a weekend of fun with family and friends. Yesterday (Sunday) we had a party at my mom's house. She made me my favorite cake...CARROT CAKE! It's become a tradition and many of my college buddies are jealous to miss out this year! We forgot to take a picture yesterday with everyone, so we took one today instead! (But half the cake was already gone! Ha!)

And...I have to BRAG about my husband...he's the BEST!! I woke up yesterday to find the coffee table from Living Spaces that I've been wanting. Then, today he took me shopping all day! Tomorrow...he has planned a night away for the two of us. Thursday, he is taking me to a Wheel of Fortune taping. This proves he LOVES me because he hates that show! =) He's more than I could have ever hoped for! Thanks!

Today (Sunday) is my sister's birthday. My parents took us to Black Angus on Saturday Night to celebrate our birthdays together. It was YUMMY!!

We're such a handsome bunch! Ha! You don't understand how hard it was to get a picture of the four of us! The boys kept goofing off! Urgh!

Grandpa and Grandma Trochmann are visiting from Minnesota. Jamie and I drove down to Fullerton Thursday night to spend time with them. We went to Nixon Library today (Friday) and had a picnic at the park. I'll post pics of that later!

Izzy helps keep us entertained. She gets to go outside and play on Sunday! She'll be playing at Aunt Sheree's house with her cousins, Jersey, Cali, and Asher. She can't wait! =)

Izzy's Growing Up!

Our little girl is getting SO big! She loves to play fetch with her "daddy!" Here is a shot of her in the air. She hops when she runs. It's so funny!

She can sit and is now housetrained! Yeah! =)

She has one more week and she'll get to go outside. It will be her first time experiencing grass! Jamie can't wait to take her for a run. It will be interesting!

Izzy LOVES to be held. If we are sitting down, she wants to be on our lap! We love her!

Izzy took her first walk today! She still can't go outside because she hasn't had all her shots, so Jamie "walked" her around the house.

Since we have tile...Izzy was kind of just "sliding" around, or daddy was just pulling her! Jamie was trying to teach her how to walk on the left side! It was SO funny!
