Our friends, Chuck and Diane, bought Jayden a

"Harley Davidson" motorcycle outfit.

Even the socks were Harley Davidson. Too cute!

Jayden went with me to get my hair cut at Auntie Wendee's shop.
She'll cut his hair...if it ever grows back! =)

Here are a few short videos I took of Jayden. He's starting to show expression and smile. Yay! He even giggles every once in a while but I haven't been able to get it on video. It sounds sort of like a hiccup. It's very cute!

Okay, so I'm not positive, but I think Jayden says, "mom" in this video! Haha! Not really, but it sort of sounds like it, right? =)

Jayden's Friend Natalee...

Here is a picture of Jayden's friend, Natalee. My friend Gretchen delivered her two weeks after Jayden. We get together and talk about our little ones. I can't wait until they can actually play together!

Jayden has lost all the hair on the top of his head, but still has hair around the bottom.

He looks like an old man! It is pretty funny!

This is an outfit "Auntie Aimee" and "Uncle Tim Tom" bought for Jayden.

Visiting Daddy at Work...

Jayden had his first trip out today! He visited his daddy at work!

Jamie was very happy to show off his son.

His outfit made him look so grown up!

Jayden went to the doctor today and he weighs 11 lbs 7 oz and is 22 1/2 inches long!
He is in the top 95 percentile for his weight and height.
He's a BIG boy!

Growing Fast?

When we packed for the hospital, we weren't planning on staying longer than a few days. Since we stayed so long, we ran out of clothes for Jayden and only had this outfit left until Jamie could run home and get some more clothes.

We laughed when we put this on him because it was HUGE!

But...3 weeks later...it fits him perfectly!

Grandpa came over to spend some time with Jayden.

Gramma is at a church retreat so Grandpa didn't have to share with anybody!

Once Jayden was fed and bathed, he got to spend some cuddle time with Grandpa Randy.

Jayden's Future Babysitter...

Here is a picture of Jayden with his future babysitter! Alison was in my first grade class a few years ago and she's become a big part of my life. She is excited about Jayden's arrival and looks forward to watching him in the future. She's awesome!

Reading Books with Mommy and Daddy...

Jayden is very attentive and alert. He loves to listen to stories!

The panda book I'm reading him has pictures in black and white,

(which is all he sees right now),

so he loves looking at all the pictures. Look how focused he is!

We think he's VERY smart already!

Daddy was reading him the "Tale of Jeremy Fisher,"

a book Jamie used to read in Africa with his mom.

Jayden LOVES to stare at his daddy!!

Whenever Jamie has him, Jayden is just amused by him.

I think it's all the stories Jamie makes up and tells him!

Jayden is 2 1/2 weeks old now. He's growing fast!

He is such a content baby...
