A Fun Mother's Day Getaway

Jamie took Jayden and I to our timeshare in Indio this past weekend for a little "Mother's Day Getaway" and to vacation as a family of three before Brady arrives. It had been a while since we took Jayden with us and he absolutely loved it!
The kiddy pool was the perfect size for him!
He loved "swimming" with Dada!
Jayden has no fear of water, which makes us a little nervous,
but he does great keeping his head above the water.
Daddy's little buddy...
I love this picture, it looks like they are having a heart to heart
talk about something.
These few are a little blurry, but I was laying on the
lounge chair taking pictures from afar and relaxing!
(that's why they are all a little dark too)
This was around 6pm and it was warm enough to swim. We got there on Thursday and there was hardly anyone around. It was so nice having the pool to ourselves!
Splashing with Dada
Proof that I was there too! =)
After we went swimming it was bath time, then snack time!
Here are a few shots from our balcony. It is so pretty there and
you can hear the waterfall from the patio.
Very relaxing!
We fed the ducks from our balcony.
There were cute little ducklings too!
Jayden made his favorite cookies.
We read books and colored.
One of Jayden's favorite moments is when the Trash Truck
came to pick up the trash!
He loves (that is an understatement) Trash Trucks! Then we headed to the pool!
This time we went to the Lazy River.
Checking out his life jacket...
Floating in the tubes...
He had SO much fun!
Then it was back to the Kiddy Pool!
The weather was perfect! It was about 93 degrees during the day!
We've been there when it's been 120, so this was so nice.
Dada and Jayden started this game where they would hop out of the Kiddy Pool, run around under the cold shower, and then head back to the Kiddy Pool. They must have done this 30 times in a row! Jayden thought it was the best game ever!We decided to take a break from the pools and head to the Game Room/Activity Center. The Resort has different activities for kids throughout the day to give them a break from the sun. We gave Jayden some money so he could "Paint a Piggy Bank." He was very excited and was so responsible not to lose his money on the way there.
These flowers were on our walk to the Activity Center.
I thought they were very pretty.
Playing Games with Dada
Counting the pegs.
Jayden can now count to 10!
Time to paint his Piggy Bank!
He is quite the artist...
Check out the paint on that pig!
Jayden was so proud of his finished product!
(and so were Mama and Dada)
Playing the Motorcycle Game with Dada...
Wait until Jayden finds out Dada had a Motorcycle
and sold it when he was born.
He's going to be so bummed!
Then, we headed to the park!
(We love this timeshare...there is so much for kids to do!)
We are so proud of the little guy Jayden is becoming!
He loves being independent and we love to watch him grow and
shape his personality!
Another Motorcycle!
Such a big boy!
That evening our friends, Michael and Jannae,
came out for some fun!
We had dinner and then headed to the Lazy River.
Jayden and Baylee had so much fun floating around!
We used this floaty last year and when we used it again this year,
Jayden looked HUGE!
Can't believe how fast our little boy is growing!
Loving the water!
Baylee is such a cutie pie! She has such a joyful personality.
I love that her and Jayden are buddies!
They get along so well and have so much fun together.
I know that Noah and Brady will be great buds too!
(Jannae will post more pics to her blog)
We had a great weekend and were blessed to share
the time with great friends!

Looks like a great time! Jamie looks like such a good Daddy playing with his son. Glad he could take you away for a few days before the baby comes..
