Storytime and Water Fun

My friend Lindsey and I took our kids to Storytime at the Beaumont Community Center. It was much better than our experience at the Library. There weren't a ton of kids but the story and music was still a lot of fun. The lady who leads the Storytime at this Center is the same lady from the Library.

The story this week was about "Actual Size." The librarian read the story while showing pictures of actual size animals. After the story, she asked the moms to trace the kids hands and then our own to show "actual size."

Then it was Music Time!
A song about animals was playing and the kids had to imitate the
animal with their scarves.
Jayden and Reed just kinda jumped around.

Storytime was during the kid's naptime (1pm),

but they did good, considering they were tired!

On Saturday, the weather was warm, so we filled up Jayden's
water table to let him play in the sun for a while.

He loves being outside!

We had planned on taking Jayden to the Air Show that day, but he was having some stomach problems, so we had to stay home. We were so bummed, but Jayden still had a fun day.

Jayden also loves to help Dada work on the yards.

He would rather eat fruit than anything else.
Dada planned a trip to a resort in Indio for
a few nights this weekend.
We can't wait to take Jayden swimming.

It will be our last "mini-vacation" as a family of 3.
We're excited to become a family of 4!
