Happy Easter!

Jayden loved coloring eggs this year!
We started out by mixing the dye with the water...
Then Jayden colored with a crayon on the eggs.He took his time with each egg.
He then "dropped" them in the dye. Sometimes he got a little too excited and the dye went everywhere, but it was a fun experience!
He was drawing Mickey and balloons.
Although we couldn't tell, he told us! =)
This picture is blurry, but still cute!
Waiting patiently for the eggs to turn color.
Checking out the colored eggs...
It was cute how he used the dipper. He would hold the dipper on the egg and then use his fingers to hold both the egg and the dipper in the dye.
This age is SO much fun!
Checking them all out...none of the eggs broke!
Easter Morning!
Jayden spent the night with Gaga and Papa last night, so we picked him up from their house, got donuts (Jayden's favorite!), and then spent the morning at home. Jayden and Jamie both have colds, so we weren't able to go to church.
The Easter Bunny came while Jayden was away!
The Easter Bunny left a basket full of goodies and
even hid eggs! =)
Jayden was pretty excited to check out his basket!
Jayden is very much into bubbles, Little People, Thomas the Train trucks, tractors, and anything else with wheels!
Then, it was time to hunt eggs!
It was fun for him to find the eggs he colored!
We had a basket for him to use when he found the eggs, but he insisted on putting them back in the carton, where they belonged. He likes to make sure everything is back in it's place! It was so cute to see the expressions on his face everytime he
found another egg! It never got old.
He started counting the eggs when he found them.
He said, "one, two eggs."
Such a smart little guy!
He was so proud of himself when he found them all!
Checking out his new stuff.
Mema and Pepa sent him an Easter Card...
(they send him one for every holiday and it
always has a $2 bill in it)
He loved the stickers on the card and was excited about
putting the money in his Piggy Bank.
Thank you Mema and Pepa!
We're headed to Gaga and Papa's this afternoon for an Easter Lunch and another Egg Hunt...I will post more pictures once we get back home. I hope everyone has a Happy Easter and remembers the true reason we celebrate...He has Risen Indeed!

Fun photos! So many of Jayden's expressions I can see Jamie in him!
Sorry for the colds but glad you can be close by family to celebrate together. Coloring the eggs looked like great fun.
Yes, a blessed Easter to you. Jesus is risen indeed! Praise Him.
Kyds are funny because they will fuss when their parents leave but within minutes they are just fine! I think the fussing is to just get at the parents because they can't go with. I would always tell my girls what to expect and then remind them I would be back for them but for now have fun without me!!
