Brady's Baptism

This past Sunday we had Brady's Baptism.
The coolest part...Grandpa did the ceremony!
Here are some pictures.
Papa and Gaga
Jayden and Bayley
How do you keep little boys quiet in church?
Hide goldfish crackers in an envelope!
Brady was pretty happy about his special day!
He literally had the BEST day of his life with very little crying.
It was so exciting to see him happy and content!
Uncle Tim and Carter came to celebrate too!

The funniest part of the day is when Jayden decided to go up with Grandpa and "help" him preach! He walked up and said, "Hi Grandpa!" It was very cute!
There aren't very many pastors who would pick up their grandson and continue with the sermon! We think you're the best Grandpa!Jayden loves his Grandpa!
At one point, Jayden was driving Thomas the Train across Grandpa's face. Again, Grandpa was patient and continued with the sermon.
(We were cracking up!)
Grandpa's Little Buddy
Then it was time for Brady's Baptism.
Josh and Kris are Brady's Godparents.
(As well as Jayden's)
Grandma made a special lunch afterwards and
we all went to celebrate!
The weather was perfect!
The kids had fun playing outside!
(My niece is SO cute!)
This one of Bayley is cute!
Jayden and Bayley played so well together!
Baby Emily was able to celebrate with us too!
Thank you to those of you who prayed for her, she is doing well.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for a great service and for
opening up your home to all of us!
Thanks to Grandma for a great lunch!
Update on Brady:
We saw the GI Specialist on Monday and he examined Brady and let us know that there is nothing wrong with Brady's actual digestive system. Yay! It is a functional problem with the way he is swallowing. I am meeting with a lactation consultant on Friday in hopes that she will give us some helpful input as well. If that doesn't work, we'll be referred to a feeding specialist. There are a few other issues with the muscles that help release gas that are not working like they should,
so we are working that problem out as well.
In the meantime, Brady has had some really good hours! There still isn't a day or night that he doesn't cry/scream for at least five hours, but we are thankful for the time he is happy. We appreciate all the emails, calls, and texts asking about our little guy. We know that the prayers are working!
(Thanks for the pics Bec!)
