Baking Cookies!!

Jayden LOVES to bake! He actually loves to cook. I love the time we spend together in the kitchen. He really is a good helper! We decided to "make" pumpkin cookies.

He is at the age where he wants to do everything by himself.

I think it's important to let him do just that. =)

Even if the cookies aren't perfect the first time around...
he was concentrating so hard to make sure he did it "just right."

He was so proud of the finished product!

Then, it was my turn to do a little lesson on why the cookies can't touch.
Once I explained, he helped me sort all the cookies out
so they had room to bake, and "get BIG!"

He is (and always has been) so patient while the cookies bake.
I have pictures of him sitting just like this when he was younger.

I miss being in the classroom, but I enjoy "teaching" my little guy everyday!
Nothing compares to being at home with my boys. I truly believe it's the biggest blessing ever. I am so thankful!
